Together Forward

Recently, SHRM President & CEO, Johnny C. Taylor Jr. released a message at the beginning of the year entitled: Together Forward. In this message, he refers to raising awareness about the true impact human resources has on the workforce of the future and how together we will move the profession forward. As HR professionals we have the opportunity to create transformations with in our organizations and communities. IndySHRM is committed to advancing the professional by developing strategic business partners through comprehensive programming and collaborative development opportunities. This year we anticipate further development of our business acumen to support our workplaces while serving a profession which strives to positively impact the future our workforce. All of this is possible because of the commitment of our IndySHRM volunteer leaders. It is because of these driven individuals that we can make transformational change. Currently, our board of directors are working toward initiatives from our strategic plan. We will continue to share those initiatives with our members as they take root. If you would like to be a part of this exciting time in the HR profession, feel free to reach out to any board member or complete the Volunteer Registration form on our website.
