Call for Nominations!!

WOW, what a conference! The Indiana State Council of SHRM and the conference committee truly outdid themselves this year with amazing keynote speakers and breakout sessions demonstrating why Indiana has one of the best conferences in the Nation! One of the many reasons we have such success with our state conference is because of our volunteer leaders. This year IndySHRM had three members recognized for their outstanding leadership: Kristen Lampkin, Megan Nail, and Jessica Stephenson! Congratulations and thank you for all that you do for our local chapter as well as the Indiana State Council of SHRM!

I would encourage all of our members to consider becoming involved and volunteering either on a committee or as a board member. It is with the help of dedicated and volunteer leaders that IndySHRM can continue to advance the human resource profession and the capabilities of all human resource professionals in central Indiana. Some benefits of becoming a chapter Board member include:

  • The chance to make an impact and assist in the development of your chapter and the HR profession.
  • An opportunity to be recognized as a leader in the field of human resources.
  • The chance to develop and expand your leadership skills.
  • Hours spent as a volunteer leader can count as Professional Development Credits (PDCs) towards SHRM recertification.
  • The opportunity to attend IndySHRM Programming free of charge.
  • Great networking opportunities.

If you or know someone who would be interested in serving on the IndySHRM Board of Directors, please complete and submit the attached form or reach out to any current Board member for additional information.

    Support the SHRM Foundation

The SHRM Foundation is a values-based charity organization whose mission is to champion workforce and workplace transformation by providing research-based HR solutions for challenging inclusion issues facing current and potential employees, scholarships to educate and develop HR professionals to make change happen and opportunities for HR professionals to make a difference in their local communities.
